On Monday, June 12, students in Mrs. Rosenberg's AP Language class went to Coastal Ridge Elementary to work with Mrs. Bergeron's second graders. The high school students were tasked with helping them practice their literacy skills. Students designed activities to practice capitalization, commas, common and proper nouns, and finding errors. The YHS students were beyond impressed with the second graders and thought their writing skills were already awesome but had a blast working with them. They are looking forward to returning to CRES on Wednesday, June 14 to continue with the practice and fun.
