York High School Choral Director Rob Westerberg has been named the 2023 northeast recipient of the Outstanding Music Educator Award by the National Federation of State High Schools.
NFHS named six award winners for the United States, Westerberg receiving his for Section 1, representing all of New England, New York, and New Jersey.
Westerberg is a veteran music teacher of 35 years and is in his 23rd year at York High School. He holds a Bachelor of Music in music education from Keene State College and a Master of Music in choral conducting from the University of Maine.
