Student Services uses Naviance to manage the entire college application process. Naviance permits us to send official transcripts, the York High School Profile, as well as letters of recommendations and required forms from the counselors and teachers electronically. Updated transcripts are also sent at the end of the first quarter, first semester, and at the conclusion of the senior year. It is essential that students do their best to keep their grades up throughout the year. Colleges offer acceptances with the condition that the students will conclude their senior year successfully.
Students need to be sure to add all schools to which they are applying to Naviance and be sure to indicate the correct admission plan. Once the student has applied they need to request their transcripts through Naviance in order for them to be sent. This feature also allows students, parents, and counselors to track admissions materials and ensure that they arrive on time.
