Military
Some students may be interested in joining the military right after graduation from high school. Representatives from most of the branches of the military visit York High School frequently throughout the school year. In the fall of the senior year, students may take the ASVAB, the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, to determine which military occupation best suit their interests and abilities.
