Graduation for York's High School Class is fast approaching, it is a time for celebration, high hopes and lasting memories.

For the past 25 years, volunteers and community members have supported Project Graduation, an all night, alcohol and drug-free celebration exclusively for graduating seniors. Yorkwise's goal for project graduation is an evening of fun and safety on graduation night.

Like other alcohol/drug free graduation events around the country, Project Graduation has played a significant roll in keeping our kids safe on a night that has seen celebration turn tragic too many times.

Virtually every member of the graduating class joins in the fun of project Graduation. This is a special time together for each class as they celebrate their accomplishments. The entire evening is generously chaperoned by volunteer teachers.
The activities include:
  • Coach bus transportation
  • Endless snacks and drinks all night
  • Lobster Bake at Foster's
  • Hill Top Fun Center in Somersworth, NH for mini-golf, go carts, batting cages, arcades and more.
  • Bowling
  • A chartered sunrise/breakfast cruise with the Isles Of Shoals Steamship Cruise on the Piscattaqua River.
  • Return to York High School for good byes, hugs and tears

This event is extremely expensive and takes a tremendous amount of effort to pull off. Therefore, we need parents, students and businesses to help organize and fund this important event. YORKWISE has two main fund raising events, the BENEFIT AUCTION and the WILDCAT CARD. Support of both of these is vital to the success of this program. Any and all assistance through donations or volunteering is welcome.
